Cheng kar-chun's centenary birthday exhibition





Cheng kar-chun (1918–2000) was a talented self-taught Hong Kong born artist.  He devoted his life to mastering the art genres of cartoon, figure, flower and landscape painting, and calligraphy. 

He was an art columnist to several leading Chinese newspaper for over 40 years.  His contribution to Hong Kong’s art and culture is widely recognized. 

To commemorate the centenary of Cheng kar-chun’s birthday, Kok Tsun Hin and Sunlight Foundation will be holding an exhibition at City Hall, Hong Kong from 12th July to 18th July 2017.

An album of his 99 excellent artworks is presented for your appreciation.

  3. He was a wonderful teacher whom I studied calligraphy from him since 1980s. A real talented artist and was highly respected by other artists in Hong Kong. He did not want to sell his good artworks and
    never asked his students to buy anything from him.
